Diving Entry Twin Towers

Weyregg am Attersee, Oberösterreich, Österreich
  • All weather

A suitable diving spot for practice dives and training. From the entry point, take a slanting left dive and after a few meters, at a depth of 12 m, you will encounter a small dinghy. Behind the dinghy, in an area of 10 m – 20 m, you can find numerous tree trunks as well as larger stones and rocks. After a few minutes, you will reach the twin towers – two large, vertically-standing trees, which tower from a depth of 18 m to 5 m above the water’s surface. These impressive tree trunks are thickly covered with moss. Sometimes, a luce or two spend some time here. The way back takes you to the upper 10 meters, over multiple stones, plants and branches, which make up a diverse underwater landscape. If you dive to the right, you will see loose tree trunks, branches and roots tossed over one another.

The description of the diving spot on the information board is only available in German. You can find the English description in the catalog of Attersee Diving (available at the tourist offices in all villages around lake Attersee or online
