Welcome to Unterach am Attersee!

Unterach, sometimes referred to as "Little Venice" in the 19th century, is situated at the southern end of Lake Attersee and has kept enchanting its visitors with its lovely villas built during its heydays around the turn of the century.

But its history goes back far beyond those times: Archeologists found remainders of pile dwellings dating back to neolithic and bronze times.

Unterach has preserved its charming and rural atmosphere. The village centre stays largely free of traffic thanks to the bypass road. This has been of great value for village life.

Unterach - the village on the southern bay of Lake Attersee - always worth a visit!
